Library Thing

We have recently added LibraryThing to the library catalogue to help you find books that interest you.

What is LibraryThing?

LibraryThing is an online service to help people catalogue their books easily. Because everyone catalogues together, LibraryThing also connects people with the same books, comes up with suggestions for what to read next, and so forth.

LibraryThing allows you to:

Rate, review and tag books you have read.

Find new books to read based on books you have already read.

How to use LibraryThing from our catalogue

Now when you use our catalogue and click on the title of a book, you'll be able to:

Find new books to read by similar authors on similar topics.

Use the tags added in LibraryThing to to find other books you're interested in.

If it's reviews you want just clock on the LibraryThing entry on the screen and you'll be taken to the LibraryThing page for that book.

LibraryThing creates a different way of interacting with, and enhancing, the library catalogue and is a great way to discover new books and authors.
